English class schedule (2022-23)
Classes are held Monday through Friday in the early and late afternoon. We advise enrolling your child in one session per week. All written materials and folders are provided.
Playgroup & Arts Schedule (2022-23)
Sessions are held daily Monday through Friday, with our Tuesday session held in conjunction with our Arts class. Children may enrol in as many sessions as desired.
Our calendar year
Our 2022-23 school year is synced with Basel’s local school calendar to make it easier for parents to coordinate their children’s busy schedules.
- 1st Semester: 15 August – 23 December
- 2nd Semester: 9 January – 31 March
- 3rd Semester: 17 April- 30 June
School holidays
We will be closed on the following public holidays in 2022-23:
- Autumn break: 1. –15. Oktober 2022
- Christmas break: 24. Dezember 2022–07. Januar 2023
- Fasnacht break: 18. Februar– 04. März 2023
- Easter break: 1.–15. April 2023
- Auffahrtsferien: 18.–19. Mai 2023
- Pfingstmontag: 29. Mai 2023
- Summer break: 01. Juli–12. August 2023
Our events
We host a number of social events throughout the year. They typically include arts and crafts tables, potluck feasts and more. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, all events are currently postponed. It is our hope when the situation improves we will be able to restart these festive events.
